This is not a biblical leadership book, but Radical Candor gave me a useful framework for thinking about how I lead. Scott’s model is built around caring personally while challenging directly, and she applies it to feedback, team relationships, performance conversations, and organizational culture.
In a world that often avoids conflict, the idea that clarity can be an act of kindness stayed with me. The book gave me more courage to communicate expectations clearly, address issues directly, and lead my staff with both honesty and care rather than confusing niceness with good leadership.
One note for my Christian friends who are sensitive to strong language: you may want to skip this one.
