Chasing Grace 2027

What Is It?
Chasing Grace is a Christ-centered women’s retreat focused on spiritual renewal, biblical teaching, and meaningful community. Returning in 2027, Chasing Grace will turn its attention to the biblical themes of light and darkness.
The details are still taking shape, but we’ll continue what has become a Chasing Grace tradition: bringing women together in the Pennsylvania mountains for biblical teaching, reflection, worship, rest, and community.
The weekend will remain thematic rather than being centered on a single book of the Bible. At the same time, thematic teaching should never come at the expense of careful biblical interpretation. Some sessions will trace a theme across Scripture, while others will slow down within a particular passage to consider its context, meaning, and application more closely.
The goal is not simply to gather verses around an idea, but to let Scripture shape the theme.
Who Is It For?
Chasing Grace is designed primarily for adult women who want to grow in their faith while deepening relationships with other women. Many attendees come with a friend, family member, small group, or women from their church, and those shared connections often become an important part of the weekend.
Chasing Grace is a cross-church gathering that brings together women from many congregations and communities, not just one specific church. No particular Bible study background is required, and women at different stages of spiritual growth are welcome.
Teenagers have attended in past years, but because most participants are adults, younger attendees who come on their own can sometimes find it harder to connect socially. For that reason, the retreat is best suited to adult women, or to younger women attending alongside a mother, mentor, relative, or established group.
What Will You Experience?
You can expect a weekend that balances biblical teaching with space to slow down, reflect, worship, and connect with other women. Sessions will explore the retreat theme through Scripture, with some tracing ideas across the Bible and others spending more time within the context of a particular passage.
Outside of the teaching sessions, there will be time for conversation, prayer, rest, shared meals, and enjoying the beauty of the Pennsylvania mountains. The goal is not to fill every hour, but to create space for both spiritual growth and genuine connection.

Dietary Accommodations
We want every guest to feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the weekend, including at mealtimes. White Sulphur Springs is experienced in accommodating a variety of dietary needs, and past Chasing Grace guests with food restrictions have shared that they felt both safe and well accommodated.
Gluten-free bread is available at every meal, and the buffet typically includes a salad bar. For guests who need a specially prepared meal, such as a gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan entrée, the retreat center offers individual meal accommodations for an additional $25 dietary accommodation fee.
For example, if dinner includes breaded chicken, vegetables, and salad, the kitchen can prepare a separate gluten-free chicken breast, vegetarian entrée, or vegan entrée, while the remaining compatible items are available from the buffet.
A separate dietary accommodation option will be included during registration so your needs are clearly recorded and communicated to the retreat center in advance.
Early Bird Registration Opens April 1, 2027
